Urban Uco Malbec, 2014

tasting notes:

In this entry-level the 2014 Urban Uco Malbec, the flagship Argentinian grape produces a varietal red with estate grapes fermented in stainless steel and matured in oak barrels for three months. The aromatic nose is very showy and attractive displaying aromas of violets, apricots and blueberries in a straightforward but not banal nose. The palate is soft with the telltale sweet tannins from the grape. If it had little more liveliness it would be just phenomenal. Great varietal character that is a little leafy and wild.
