Tiglat, 2013

750ml

Varietals: Chardonnay

Region: Burgenland

Tasting notes:
The Chardonnay Tiglat is the flagship from the hand of Heinz Velich and has for years been the best that is produced in Austria at Chardonnay. In the nose, a lot of power, like a lot of roasted notes after caramel and marzipan, with air comes immediately more finesse, then becomes more subtle and finer, slightly overripe pineapple, some brioche, the fruit is still a little hidden. On the palate, a twisted image, firmer and elegant on the palate, tannin structure with a lot of grip and great acidity, then it becomes more powerful and creamier, more and more brioche, again marzipan, almost buttery to the finish, but remains very well. A very typical Tiglat of the power and finesse unified and after a few years of bottle maturity will show its full size.

Furore RotWeissRot: 18 Points, Falstaff: 94 Points
