Saigner is the French word for bleeding, a special winemaking procedure for a great Rosé. Markus Schneider’s 2014 is enormously rich with a very fruity aroma, especially bromine, cassis, raspberries. On the palate, it is intense with juicy berry wine aromas. It finishes with a fresh acidity which holds the wine for a long time on the tongue.
James Suckling: 89 points
