Grape Varieties: Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec

This elegant blend of 36% Cabernet Franc, 46% Merlot and 18% Malbec was named by Robert Parker “The Bordeaux from the Bush”. It displays earthy, spicy and slightly funky aromas. Sweet, plummy fruit richness on the palate is complemented by ripe dark berries and a touch of mocha. It’s a fruit driven blend with length and balance and a savoury finish. I wouldn’t quarrel with anyone who polished off their bottles quickly, but it will probably be equally good in another five more years’ time.
