Riesling Undhof Kögl DAC, 2013

tasting notes:

„The 2013 Riesling Kögl is a serious classic, "true" Riesling if you will, and surely one of the stars of the 2013 vintage in Austria. It is very pure, fresh, citric and floral on the nose and highlighted by a deep mineral foundation. Intense and powerful on the palate, this is a surprisingly rich and full-bodied, yet elegant and transparently fresh and refined wine with a very good concentration, whereas the subjacent mineral structure carries it to a complex and salty finish and to a great length. It does not seem to be bone dry but is surely very well balanced with a tremendous aging potential.” Robert Parker: 92 points
