“A beautiful subtle and delicate Pouilly with discreet aromas of white fruits, physalis and citrus. It seems not as rich and fruit intense as the exotic Aubaine but, obviously due to its very poor chalk soils and the deeper roots, it has more transparency, finesse and a more floral and mineral expression. The length, however, is not less impressive, actually probably more, since there is no alcohol apparent but, if you will, more minerals and thrill. This is an excellent Pouilly-Fumé of great finesse and mineral purity.”
