Region: Great Southern
Tasting Notes:
Very deep garnet-purple colored, it offers a wonderfully expressive nose of ripe red currants, black raspberries and mulberries over aromas of chocolate box, anise, Chinese five spice and a whiff of cedar. Full bodied and concentrated, it is nicely balanced in the mouth with crisp acidity providing lift to the richness and a medium to firm level of fine-grained tannins lending approachable texture. The finish is long and layered.
