“Although a traditional field blend from the well-known site above Vienna, you could put the ripe, aromatic and concentrated 2013 Wiener Gemischter Satz Nussberg in any Traminer tasting and it would show well. Rose petals, lychees, peaches, cloves, yellow-skinned apples and other spices on the nose open to a rich, full-bodied, powerful yet fresh and very mineral, elegant palate full of finesse with a good finish. The aftertaste is long and keeps the tension vibrant. This field-blend Nussberg is another great 2013 from Fritz Wieninger.”
