The 2012 Chianti Classico Riserva is a beautiful wine that gains in intensity and purity as the wine opens in the glass. The bouquet is well stitched together with red fruit tones the segue to spice, leather and pressed rose. The wine is lean and short in the mouth but it does end with bright acidity that is a trademark of Sangiovese.
