The Taferner family has a centuries-old tradition of winegrowing, which laid the foundations for the family’s present day winemaking. Located in the Lower Austrian commune of Göttlesbrunn in Carnuntum, Franz Taferner had converted what was once a farm into a winery. Great care and precision had been put into cultivating Gelber Muskateller that has been known to be the best of its kind. The winemaking process adopted by Franz is the perfect mixture of traditional methods and modern technology, a method that has been perfected to develop the wines to its fullest potential.
